Pickering College

Pickering College is a small and international private boarding school 40 minutes away from Toronto. Here students learn in small groups, live in small communities together with young tutors and are able to exercise interesting sports activities like figure scating, volleyball, horse riding etc. There are 400 students of which 110 are international boarding students.  


The school also prides itself to be very committed to music. Different ensembles can be joined. A radio station of their own is operated by students and students participate regularly at the Junior Film Festival in Toronto. Various other activities are offered for students to join and learn more about Canada. The school has a friendly and cosy atmosphere, dedicated teachers and staff taking care of the needs of the 110 international students who learn together with local Canadian student in a co-educative manner. Founded by Quakers in 1842 the guideline „Leadership through service“  is the fundament on which the educational programme of the school is run.

4-months programme „EXPERIENCE CANADA“

September­ – December

January – May


This programme is available for grade 7-11 and meant for those students who only want a part-time experience and don´t want to spend a whole year. No credits can be obtained during this half-term stay.


Students can attend at all academic courses and sports programmes and extracurricular activities.
